Crossbred Performance is a unique retail automotive business. With close ties to Automotive manufacturing and racing workshops we specialise in Subaru parts and offer expert advise to find the part that you need for your vehicle from 1970’s models to current.

Crossbred Performance started through it’s signature product ‘The Crossbred Performance Brake Conversion Kit’ which was originally developed for by Gareth McGregor for his own Subaru Brumby. As the Brake Kit developed so did the idea of turning it into a truly ‘professional’ kit and marketing it to other enthusiasts.

The Crossbred Performance Brake Conversion Kit is the only kit on the market that is fully ADR approved and able to be certified in all Australian states.

Gareth and his wife Tracey, the brain childs of this business, developed a professional and efficient service supplying these kits to the motor industry. The business has recently passed into my hands to continue it’s development and growth. I have a strong history in Subaru vehicles and as well as doing conversions for customers, I have purpose built my own Impreza and Brumby (work vehicle) as well as my son’s Impreza. Gareth will continue to be associated with the business for a handover period for technical advice and has passed on all goodwill built up by the business.

Crossbred Performance will remain a ‘home based’ business. As we don’t have the overheads of a physical retail/manufacturing business, we can pass on savings to our ‘online’ customers and reach a far wider audience. We also have great flexibility by taking advantage of off-site warehousing and having many of our products shipped straight from the supplier to our customer.

We aim to quickly develop our product range, supplier relationships and ordering systems to offer a ‘one stop shop’ for specialist automotive products for the mechanical workshop, race team and general home enthusiast.
